Monday- for p day, we went
looking at some stores for some hip new clothes, but we didn't buy anything,
just taking a look, and then that evening was incredible. We went and
taught Martin (the guy from Guinea Equatorial we found last Saturday) and his
aunt Sabina, and it was one of the the most powerful lessons of my whole
mission. They both are so prepared and accepted to be baptized. They are
truly an amazing miracle. Then we went to the Ecuadorian family home
evening and it was fun.
Tuesday- so that morning we went
down to Elche so we could meet the other half of our zone and that was good,
the missionaries there are super awesome. Then we ate lunch with them and
went back home. Then we had exchanges with the elders from Benidorm, and
i was with elder Harris from Colorado. He's new in the mission and in his
training, but he is doing super awesome, and is an incredibly missionary. We
were able to meet some great people, teach English, teach Martin (which that
lesson was incredible, I've never met someone who understands the gospel so
well) and then had the ward family home evening which Martin came to and really
enjoyed.
Wednesday- in the morning me and
elder Harris continued working and we just talked to a lot of people in the
street and stopped by some people and it was good. Then that evening we
just had meetings all day, as usual, and it was good. This ward is still
so awesome. Then we had ward choir and I'm now singing tenor which is
very high for me, but it's all good
Thursday- that morning we had
weekly planning which was good. Then we taught this new guy we had contacted.
He is a gypsy man named Luis and he has many children and grandchildren and it
was a good lesson, Luis was very nice and willing to listen. Then we taught
Martin and unfortunately Sabína has very high blood pressure and had to go to
the emergency room, so we gave her a blessing. They were very grateful and
really enjoyed our message.
Friday- that morning we had
district meeting which was fun, then that evening we taught Martin again and he
said that he feels so much happiness and already considers himself Mormon, he
said he's committed to this path and knows its true. We too taught frank
Lourdes and Erica with some members there, and they are having some family
issues but the members really helped and we hope they can continue to
persist.
Saturday- we had futbol with the
ward and it was way fun. Frank came, Martin came, and also this other
Guinean dude that the other missionaries found came and those three were super
good. Frank for being 48 years old plays super well, and Martin and the other
Guinean guy were incredibly good. That evening we had an in interesting
experience. We have a couple of investigators who work for that company based
out of Utah called 4LIfe. Well they invited us to their meeting and we went and
it was hilarious. They were all very excited to have 2 Mormons from Utah
there, considering the CEOs are Mormon and are from Utah. Some of them
even had been there. Then we went and visited a less active in San Vicente
Sunday- church was great, Martin
came again and so did the other Guinean guy who actually was born in Madrid and
already baptized and so it was good.
Well this week was incredible
and each week continues to be. I love the mission!!!!
